Few days ago I starting my first experience with Sitefinity 8.1 it is been long since my last work with Telerik products, last time for me with this CMS was with the Sitefinity 4.2. I can see that features are enough now to advice my client buying and using this CMS, but it wasn’t this case with SF4.2. as having a lake of features and some other unfinished features that shouldn’t be released with a major release. were not encouraging to do so at that time.

SF now got a community (open source) addition which is a Project named Feather. this project is what makes templates integration much easier than before and more flexible. also the major updates on Thunder completed the cycle of development and speed it up.

I will share some coding and development experiences in my next post for sure.
